I loved getting to take Tucker's senior portraits in downtown Spokane! I used to babysit Tucker when he was little, and it was so strange to me to see him all grown up, because I still picture the little boy who first showed me Harry Potter Puppet Pals on YouTube. The fall colors perfectly added some dimension to the classic Monroe Street bridge silhouette, and made downtown unique to Tucker's photos.
I am so in love with how Lyric's senior portrait session turned out! We had originally planned for photos in August, but got smoked out by hazardous air quality in Spokane. September turned out better than expected! The colors at Barrister's Winery go so well with the downtown Spokane and Garland District backdrops, and the textures in the field round out this whole antique-inspired session. Lyric's boyfriend and sister tagged along for the shoot, giving Lyric perfect smiles!
I have known Megan since she was in elementary school, and what a wonderful friend she has become! It was so much fun doing her senior portraits and exploring her family's property. She is so adventurous and was willing to get down in the dirt, look into the sun, and climb steep hills whenever I asked! It was wonderful getting to have this experience with her and to show her personality in this way!
What a fun way to start out senior portrait season! Savannah was a photographers dream - I never had to pose her or tell her what to do next. Every time my camera clicked, she would change poses like a professional model! Downtown Spokane and Riverfront Park were the perfect places for us to blend our artistic visions and get so many amazing photos! Cheers to your senior year!
So much fun to see these two celebrate with family and friends when they finally tied the knot at their intimate Post Falls, Idaho wedding. I had hardly any posing to do, as Eric and Kendra are so clearly in love and did most of the posing themselves! Congratulations!
Congratulations to my cousin Zack and his bride Shelby on their marriage! The love they have for each other and their family really came through in their small, intimate summer wedding. They are such a goofy couple, and totally made for each other! Also thank you to Dixie Blinn for letting me tag along and help photograph this wedding!
Ali became a friend of mine while we were abroad in France during our undergrad. In this season of joy and graduation, I was so happy when she reached out to me for graduation photos with her friend Breana. Now she's off to law school! Good luck in the real world, girls!
Matt and Chynna are finally married! What an honor to serve them this way on their special day, and to spend the whole day with family. Here's to a long and happy life together!
Congratulations to my little brother who is graduating from high school! Woo! We did photos all the way in Wilbur, Spokane, and even our own back yard. Basically, wherever we found a good spot and I had my camera with me. So proud of you, Noah!
I loved the opportunity to get to photograph Graham as he prepares to graduate high school, and to experience a new location! In downtown Spokane, the Barrister Winery gave us the perfect mix of urban and rustic characteristics in one spot. All in all, a very fun shoot!
Again, taking some beautiful engagement photos at the Govan schoolhouse on an unexpectedly windy summer day. My cousin Chynna and her fiance Matt wanted to do their photos out there because the high school where they met is only a couple minutes down the road from the schoolhouse! Congratulations to you both, and I look forward to your wedding in 2017!
It was so exciting to do my cousin's senior portraits! She has such a relaxed and adventurous spirit, so she didn't hesitate when I suggested we take an hour-long road trip to Govan, Washington to the old school house there. We also did some photos at Manito park in Spokane.
I am so happy to have had this experience with Roni, and to have these wonderful photos of her to give to her family. Rest in peace, sweet girl.
